JOIN THE PARAMEDIC ASSOCIATION OF MANITOBA
Professional Associations can have enormous strength and credibility amongst politicians, decision-makers, administrators and managers, educational institutions, media and the public. Members of the Paramedic Association of Manitoba have access to a strong and influential lobbying organization within the province of Manitoba, ensuring they have appropriate representation in decisions affecting the provision of Emergency Medical Services and the future of our profession.
An Association is only as strong as it’s membership…now is the time to act. Strong membership will position the Paramedic Association of Manitoba to successfully pursue professional recognition and self-regulation.
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES - Membership within the Paramedic Association of Manitoba is offered at three separate levels: Full, Associate, and Corporate.
- Full Membership: Individuals who hold a valid Manitoba Emergency Medical Response Provider License (EMR training level and above) are eligible to obtain Full membership within the Association. In addition to services provided to all members, Full membership allows Association voting privileges.
- Associate Membership: Individuals who do not hold a valid Manitoba Emergency Medical Response Provider License may apply for an Associate membership.
- Corporate Membership: Organizations affiliated with emergency medical services in some capacity may apply for a Corporate membership. These memberships are subject to the approval of the Board of the Paramedic Association of Manitoba, and apply only to the organization as a whole, not individual members or employees of that organization.
REGISTRATION FEES
- Full Membership $ 80.00 annually
- Associate Membership $ 30.00 annually
- Corporate Membership $200.00 annually
All Full and Associate memberships expire on June 30th each year and are pro-rated monthly.
The Paramedic Association of Canada receives $12.00 annually from each registration for membership in the national association.
An annual disbursement of $1.00 per registration is paid to the Benevolent Society of Canada.
The remaining funds cover provincial membership services and administrative costs.

Red Cross Instructors wishing to utilize the PAM authorized provider group liability insurance must also include a photocopy of their valid Red Cross Instructor certification and an additional $25.00 insurance fee payable annually to the Paramedic Association of Manitoba.

PAYPAL - If you would prefer to pay your membership fees and/or authorized provider insurance fee using a major credit card or your personal PAYPAL account, simply fax or mail your application to our office and select the appropriate payment option below.
NEW Membership - New memberships will now expire June 30, 2012. The registration fee for these applications will reflect the pro-rated balance of this year as well as next year plus an administration fee. Note: If you are applying for a new membership please be sure to fill out the application form listed above. To expedite the process you can fax the application to 1-866-222-6471.
RENEW - Full Membership $80.00 annually.
Red Cross Provider Insurance - $25.00 Available to members in good standing only. Copy of Instructor Certificate required BEFORE insurance is validated.
