Position Summary:

The Paramedic plays a key role of a multi-disciplinary team. Primary responsibilities relate to patient care, professional standards of practice, injury and illness prevention, and ensuring that all equipment and vehicles are maintained in a state of readiness. All duties are performed in accordance with the Emergency Medical Response and Stretcher Transportation Act, the Manitoba Health – Emergency Treatment Guidelines and all NRHA policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current license with Manitoba Health at Technician-Paramedic level.
• Graduate of Manitoba or Canadian Medical Association (CMA), accredited EMT or Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program.
